During November and December, the SPTO will be running a gift card fundraiser to help raise funds for Mrs. Backiel’s makerspace and Hale's After School Program.

All gift cards can be purchased at face value with no additional costs. If you purchase a $25 gift card, you pay $25. Each merchant offers a percentage of the card value (shown in the “%” column on the order sheet) back to SPTO. For example, if you purchase an iTunes gift card for $25 and they offer 5% back we make $1.25 per gift card sold.

You can buy gift cards for friends, family, teachers (psst….Holiday Wishes!) or even for you to use on your everyday items like gas, groceries and eating out!

Complete the Gift Card Order Form and return to school with a check made payable to SPTO.

If you order by December 11th, pick up will be at The Center School evenings the week of December 18th.

Pick up dates and times will be posted on our website www.centerhalepto.org and sent via email from the PTO website. Please make sure you are signed up for our website!

Orders will not be sent home with students. Gift cards are the same as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Proper ID will be required at pick up.

If you have any questions, please contact: Jen Morhous, Fundraising Chair fundraising@centerhalepto.org

More info on:

Makerspace: Mrs. Backiel would like to expand her makerspace to include more educational aids that help encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills associated with STEM education. Mrs. Backiel is looking to add items like Dash & Dot robots, Bosebuild speaker cubes and KIBO 10 kits to give all K-5 students an enriched educational experience.

After School Program: Hale is piloting a new after school program which will include both academic and non-academic activities. The goal is to provide students with a menu of fun and educational opportunities immediately after school for about an hour. This would take place twice a week (Tuesday and Thursdays) and would include a late bus to transport students home. The program is scheduled to begin in January.
